Work starts on the new Barungwarra boat ramp car park.

After several months of discussion with Brisbane City Council, work has finally started on the new carpark at Barungwarra. Here is the progress report as it happens Monday 15th October. Tree removal contractors started work on the removal of vegetation for the new car park. The area alongside the road way where the Turkey’s nest is located, is out of bounds to the contractors at the moment. Here is a before and after photo of the St Paul’s Garden bed which had now been cleared. The two areas of Tea Tree growth alongside the car park has also been removed.
