February 2022 brought heavy weaher to Barungwarra, not seen since 2011. The whole area was flooded to a depth of 1.5 meters and the Bushies Shed was lifted and then dumped back down with the Port-a-loo wedged underneath. We will need some help from Habitat Brisbane to rectify the damage. There is a gallery of flood pictures here. Burrungwarra area goes under. Cr. Sandy Landers helps out. We were pleased to have Councillor Sandy Launders visit us and help out with the removal of weeds and invasive vines. Here are some pictures taken during the visit.

Bushies 2022 Christmas Party

We held our 2022 Christmas Party at the picnic area in Rushworth Street. We were pleased to welcome Councillor Sandy Landers and Federal Member Luke Howarth. It was our first chance to use our new Gazebo, kindly donated by State member Bart Mellish who was unable to attend for family reasons
