During 2014, our group met on the following Dates:

Feb 16th Mar 16th Apr 20th May 18th June 16th July 20th Aug 17th Sept 21st Oct 19th Nov 16th
During this period we continued with the task of spreading mulch throughout the beds in our area as we are currently working on restoration of the area following it’s degredation with the Dec 2013 floods. In November, our shed was replaced thanks to out local councillor Amanda Cooper. The old shed was in a poos state with rust on the sides and roof. We had tried to repair i several times, but eventuially it was noi longer economically worth the time and effort. Thanks Councillor Cooper who is shown in the photo with Bushies Russell Campbell, Glen  and Bob Cliffo
December 2014 saw the official opening of the new bridge on the cycle and pedestrian footpath. This is our 3rd bridge. The first one was burnj down by vandals who also destroyed the bird nesting area. The secod bridge was made unsafe as a result of the flooding. The first 2 bridges were timber construction and the new one is concrete and steel. Its been built to withstand the effects of vandalism as well as weather and environmental damage. Councillor Amanda Cooper opend the new bridge on 17th December 2014. Below are some photos of the new bridge.
